Research interests

My work in the group focuses on freshwater dinophytes in the order Peridiniales, particularly P. apiuculatus. Through morphological analyses and cross-referenceing with historical texts from the 19th and 20th centuries, I am attempting to untangle the species' cryptic taxonomy. Furthermore, I am passionate about creating permanent preparations of fixed (dinophyte) material that are to be stored in herbaria or used in future research.
